So a little birdie tells me that Editor & Publisher is working on a story about our Legal Defense Fund's auction friction.
I emailed the board and some other SPJ stakeholders and asked, "Has anyone else heard this? Have SPJers been interviewed? Or is this just an Iraq-has-WMDs kind of rumor?"
No one is fessing up to either knowing or contributing.
I hope E&P writes something. They've posted our press releases about new fellows and new convention locales. So it's not like we can accuse them of only digging up dirt.
My interest here is more global. I want to see if a bunch of journalists get bent when their dirty laundry gets aired.
